Katie creates one-of-a-kind hand-forged sculptures for private collectors, businesses, and public spaces. Whether you’re looking for a marine wildlife sculpture for your garden, a statement piece for a corporate lobby, or a meaningful gift crafted in steel and bronze — every commission begins with a conversation.

Katie works in carbon steel, stainless steel, bronze, copper, and aluminum, and can accommodate projects ranging from intimate tabletop pieces to large-scale outdoor installations. She ships globally and welcomes visitors to her studio on Salt Spring Island by appointment.

  • Once the details are confirmed, you’ll receive a contract to sign and a deposit invoice (typically 50% of the total project cost).

  • Upon receipt of the deposit, preliminary sketches will begin. A selection of concepts will be shared, and refined collaboratively until a final design is approved.

  • Fabrication of your piece will then begin. Progress updates and process photos will be provided along the way.

  • As the work nears completion, you’ll have an opportunity to offer final feedback on the piece or finish. Any agreed adjustments will be made.

  • Final photos and/or video will be sent for approval, or you’re welcome to view the work in person at the studio.

  • The remaining balance is due upon completion. Once received, the piece will be shipped, delivered, or made available for pickup.
